MAKO Families: Sign-up to work your required meet sessions.  Complete the "Volunteer Sheet" and place in the "Dilek" mailbox.
Makos will pay the event fees, of one swimmer, for each 5 sessions/3 sessions worked. For example, if a bronze swimmer's family works 5 sessions, Makos will pay the cost for that swimmer to swim all of their events. The only thing that the parent will be responsible for is the $2.00 Surcharge fee that goes to Ohio Swimming. Families with 2 or more swimmers would need to work the additional 3 or 5 sessions to cover the meet fees for the additional children. We will not be giving partial credit for sessions worked less than stipulated. The Makos encourages friends, grandparents, aunts and uncles to work the meets, to lessen the amount of sessions worked by the immediate family members.
Experience is not necessary for most of the jobs. It’s a great opportunity to see your kids swim up close and meet other Mako parents and swimmers. Swimmers 10 years and over, not swimming in the session, can help time. Please contact a board member if you have any questions.
